Hi everyone!
I've set up this page in order to raise as much money as possible in order to go to the Democratic Republic of Congo this summer.
A group of us from the University of Birmingham are travelling with a company called Menelik Education on the 11th July and staying in the capital city of Kinshasa until the 9th August. Over the next few days I will be posting what our main aims are when we get out there, but for now I wanted to explain about this site and donations.
This site is made for my own personal fundraising, any money donated via the link will be going towards the expenses of me getting there. In order to raise the money and get donations I will be organising some sponsored activities in order to raise the money. These activities will be posted on this blog, therefore if you would like to sponsor me during these activities please click on the PayPal link!
I will also be updating this page whenever we organise a group fund raise (for example cake sales!!), giving details of when and where they are. Any funds raised from the group fundraising will go towards materials we will take out to the DRC with us to help with our projects.
Please give as much or as little as you can, every little helps!
